‘The love of our lives’: Heartfelt tributes to man found dead in Birmingham as murder suspect appears in court

The family of a man found dead at a property in Birmingham have paid tribute to him, as a man has further appeared in court charged with his murder.

Ismail Younis (pictured), aged 24, was found dead at an address in Richmond Road in Hockley in Birmingham last Wednesday (August 20).

Imran Uddin, 33, was charged with his murder and appeared before Birmingham Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday, August 27) where he was again remanded in custody.

Specialist officers from West Midlands Police said they are continuing to support Mr Younis’ family, who have been kept up to date with the latest developments.

In a statement the family paid tribute to Ismail, saying: “Ismail you are the love of our lives.

“You are beautiful and your smile will always remain with us forever.

“May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala meet us together in Jannah. Ameen.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We will continue to support the family, and our thoughts remain with them.”
