Big weekend of fun for all the family at Summer Farewell at Lichfield Cathedral
Families from across the region are being invited to bid farewell to summer through a weekend of activities at Lichfield Cathedral.
The cathedral is marking the final weekend of the summer holidays with a full weekend of activities on the West Front and inside the historic building.
The activities on Saturday and Sunday range from circus fun on the West Front to creative crafts, live performances, and the final chance to see Wildlife Photographer of the Year, with plenty of performance from the team at Magical Mayhem.
Running on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, the West Front of Lichfield Cathedral will be host to a circus of fun including live magic shows, circus skills workshops and balloon giveaways from the talented team at Magical Mayhem.

It will also be the last weekend to enjoy The Ark at The Beach and view the exhibition of Wildlife Photographer of the Year from the Natural History Museum.
On Sunday, following the 10.30am service, the cathedral said that families are once again invited to the Cathedral from 12pm to 2.30pm for an array of crafts and a special Noah’s Ark-themed performance from the team at Magical Mayhem.
A full itinerary of shows and entertainment can be found on the Lichfield Cathedral’s website at the Big Summer Farewell site.
