Nearly 200 cannabis plants seized as police swoop on Willenhall address - man arrested
Police swooped on a Willenhall address this morning (Saturday) for a successful drugs raid finding more than 180 cannabis plants.
After applying for a search warrant, officers held a briefing and then headed to the Short Heath address and surprised a lone male in the property.
He was arrested and nearly 200 plants were seized.
Willenhall and Short Heath Police social media accounts proudly published details of the operation today (Saturday).

They posted: "Officers have executed a drug warrant in Short Heath this morning issued under the misuse of Drugs Act Section 23.
"One male was arrested for cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity. Approximately 180 to 200 plants were found at the property."
Crop houses have become more commonplace is residential areas as drug dealers can make over £50,000 every three months if harvested correctly.
Modern hydroponic lights require electricity which if taken illegally from a neighbouring property can carry a five year sentence.
