Birmingham man facing jail for attempted murder after attacking his wife and pouring hot oil on her face
A man has been found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court of attempted murder after attacking his wife.
Raju Mollah, was found guilty on Monday following a trial.

The 49-year-old was arrested at his home in Heather Road, Birmingham on 12 January this year, after police were called to reports of a man attacking a woman.
Following an investigation, it was found that Mollah viciously attacked his wife by pouring hot oil on her face, before violently assaulting her in a sustained attack.
Mollah pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, but denied attempted murder.
He now faces jail and will be sentenced in November.
Investigating officers Rebecca Pugh and George Kawalek said: "This was a vicious attack, where he clearly tried to kill his wife.
"The victim has been very brave having sustained significant and life-changing injuries and thankfully Mollah will be spending a good amount of time behind bars.”
