Police looking for witnesses after street fight in Birmingham

Police are appealing for witnesses after disorder in Kingstanding where one man was injured.

They were called to Hawthorn Road at around 5pm last night (Wednesday) to reports of a fight involving several men.

West Midlands Police are appealing for information as part of an ongoing investigation into two burglaries in Halesowen
The Section 60 powers will be in place overnight in parts of Birmingham

Officers were quickly on the scene but those involved had already left.

Shortly afterwards, a man was found injured nearby.

He was taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life-changing.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Our investigation is at an early stage, and we are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to get in touch with us.
