Police want to speak with this man spotted in Birmingham wearing a checked shirt following an assault outside a pub in the city centre

Police want to speak with this man after two people were assaulted outside a pub in Hill Street, Birmingham, at around 10.20pm on Sunday June 27.

The name of the pub is not mentioned. Hill Street runs along Birmingham New Street train station and is near John Bright Street. The Railway Inn is among the venues in area along with a casino and it is near The Crown where Black Sabbath played when they were first starting out.

Since the assault took place, investigators from West Midlands Police have carried out enquiries including reviewing CCTV footage, but have been unable to identify the man.
