'Tricky job': West Midlands firefighters called after one year-old gets three fingers stuck in a plug

Firefighters carried out an unusual task after a one-year-old was taken to hospital when they got three fingers stuck in a plughole.

West Midlands Fire's Technical Rescue unit were called out to Birmingham Children's Hospital's surgery unit to remove the plughole from the youngster's fingers.

They posted on X saying: "Tricky job at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in surgery having to cut off a plughole from 3 fingers of a 1 year old. All went well and a full recovery will be made."
