'You risk it all crossing that junction': Residents react to news of 'horror' Dudley crash that killed two and injured others

Residents of a road in Dudley have shared their concerns for road safety following a horrific crash that left two men dead and one other in critical condition.

The devastating crash took place at the junction of Highgate Street and Clarence Street, Upper Gornal, at 7.32am this morning, and saw four ambulances, three paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic attend the scene. 

A helicopter from the Midlands Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.

On arrival, emergency services discovered two male patients in a critical condition; however, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save them, and they were declared dead at the scene. 

Now, residents of the roads have shared their grief at the tragic incident, with many offering their condolences to the families of those affected.
