Emotional tributes mark the eighth anniversary of Ryan Passey's murder in a Stourbridge nightclub as bikers rev up for weekend ride for justice
Today is the eight anniversary of Ryan Passey death when he was tragically killed in a Stourbridge nightclub.
Ryan, from Quarry Bank, was just 24-years-old when he died from a single stab wound to the chest in Chicago's nightclub in Stourbridge.
He had been enjoying a night out after a game of football, after a drawn out trial, a man was found not guilty of murder.
Stourbridge Football Club has posted an emotional tribute.

The club said: "Today we remember our former youth team player Ryan Passey on the 8th anniversary of his death. Our thoughts are with his family and friends today, and every day as they continue their fight for justice."
The Justice for Ryan Facebook page also posted a tribute to the popular young man. It said: "Eight years have passed, yet the pain remains,A wound unhealed, etched deep with campaigns. Ryan’s smile, his laugh, his light. Stolen cruelly in the darkest night. A life cut short, a future denied, a family shattered, yet dignified."
On Saturday, hundreds of bikers will rev up for the 'Ride for Justice...Ride for Ryan' from The Widders Pub in Cradley, with bikers from groups across the Midlands riding to Quatford, near Bridgnorth in his memory.
The first ride a year later in 2018 saw around 300 riders gather in support and Jason Connon, the spokesman for the Justice for Ryan campaign said at least that number is expected tomorrow and probably more.
The riders will set off in convoy from The Widders Pub in Barracks Lane, Cradley and make their way through Lye cross on the A458 to Stourbridge where they will do five laps of the ring road before making their way to the High Street for a minutes pause outside the former Chicago's nightclub where Ryan died.

They will then follow the Bridgnorth Road past Stourbridge Rugby Club to the Stewponey Junction and proceed on the main A454 before turning off on the A442 towards Quatford for a reception and breakfast at the Food Stop Cafe which is a well known venue for the biking fraternity.
The campaign are still hoping for charges to be brought after a new investigation into its death was launched two years ago. A jury previously acquitted a suspect who was later namedas responsible for Ryan's death in a civil case.
An independent review was held into the police investigation that followed Ryan’s death, and West Midlands Police have since relaunched their investigation.
The campaign said: "Two years ago West Midlands Police began their new investigation into Ryan’s murder. The wheels of justice turn slowly, but turning they still are We hope to be able to update our supporters and followers in the coming weeks ahead We will never rest until justice is finally served."
