Emergency incident in Smethwick resulting in bus service disruption
The emergency services are dealing with an incident in Smethwick resulting in road users facing traffic diversions.
Bus passengers using the National Express number 80 route are being advised of an "emergency service led" incident in Windmill Lane resulting in diversions via Cape Hill and Grove Lane.
In a post on X the operator stated: "@nxwestmidlands Service Disruption. Due to an emergency service lead incident at Windmill Lane #Smethwick 80 will be diverting both directions via: Cape Hill and Grove Lane.
"We apologise for any disruption to your journey."
