Congestion on M6 after three-car shunt near Wednesbury results in traffic coming to a halt

All lanes came to a halt on the M5 exit at junction eight and the M6 northbound carriageways after the incident involving two white saloon cars and a black Mercedes at about 4pm on Saturday.(2)

An ambulance attended the scene. The traffic got flowing when the lanes were re-opened a short time later.
