Officers in Wednesbury arrested a suspected thief after swiftly tracking a car which was then seized.

They also recovered another car which was being driven by someone without a licence and had no insurance.

It was a similar  situation over in Oldbury, where the neighbourhood team stopped an uninsured vehicle while on patrol. This was then seized.

"We're taking preventative and enforcement action as part of #SaferStreetsSummer.
