Summer campaign continues across Sandwell for police
West Midlands Police teams have been tackling crime and ensuring they are an active part of communities across Sandwell.
Officers in Wednesbury arrested a suspected thief after swiftly tracking a car which was then seized.
They also recovered another car which was being driven by someone without a licence and had no insurance.
It was a similar situation over in Oldbury, where the neighbourhood team stopped an uninsured vehicle while on patrol. This was then seized.

Members of the team in Oldbury also joined with partners for some activities to help clear up the area.
Over in Smethwick, officers carried out targeted patrols following concerns about anti-social behaviour.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "You will continue to see our officers on visible patrols as we carry on our work to keep our towns and communities safe.
"We're taking preventative and enforcement action as part of #SaferStreetsSummer.
"This is a national initiative running in town centres and high streets across the UK focusing on anti-social behaviour, retail and street crime."
