Thieves snatch gold chain from victim in Hagley alleyway

A man's gold chain was stolen in a robbery near playing fields in Hagley near Stourbridge.

West Mercia Police said the victim was using an alley at Hagley Recreational Fields at around 9pm on Monday, July 14 when he was approached by two males who threatened him with a knife before stealing the jewellery.

The incident happened between the fields and Church Street. 

Officers have now released CCTV pictures of two men they would like to talk to in relation to the robbery. They are also appealing to anyone who recognises either of them to contact the officers dealing with the  case.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the incident or who recognises the two males in these images to come forward as we believe they may be able to help with our inquiries.
