Teenager, 15, arrested after weapon was allegedly 'brandished' in Dudley street

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after officers received reports of a weapon allegedly being brandished in Dudley.

The arrest comes after West Midlands Police officers received a phone call from a member of the public just after 4.43pm on Wednesday stating that a weapon was being brandished in Wrens Nest Road, Wrens Nest, Dudley.

Officers responded to the scene and a 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a sharp-pointed article in a public place. He remains in custody for questioning.

A samurai sword was also recovered.
