Cannock man jailed after drugs and scales worth an estimated £6k seized
A Cannock man has been jailed after officers seized around £6,000 of cannabis and cocaine.
Abesildo Djoni, aged 23, from Cannock, was sentenced to three years and two months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on July 15, after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug and possessing criminal property.
The sentence comes after officers stopped a car on Holly Street, Cannock, on October 3, 2024.
After searching the car, officers discovered 15 wraps of cocaine inside a sock, a wrap of cannabis, two mobile phones and £110 in cash inside.

Gjoni's home address was then searched and officers seized a further £1,400 in cash, another sock containing cocaine, three mobile phones and two sets of scales.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: " We’re continuing to target those committing high-harm offences in Staffordshire, as part of ongoing action against serious and organised crime.
