Wolverhampton man charged after another man seriously injured in Birmingham stabbing
A man has been charged with several offences after a stabbing in Birmingham which left another man seriously injured.
Jayden Straker was arrested on Monday after the incident on Tyburn Avenue, which saw a man in his 20s taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The 24-year-old, of Hilton Road, Wolverhampton, was charged with wounding with intent, possession of a knife, and possession of a Class B drug and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
West Midlands Police said that Straker was remanded into custody until a further hearing next month and has asked for anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Our investigation is continuing and we are appealing for anyone with information or footage to get in touch with us.
"We would especially like to hear from anyone in the area with dashcam or CCTV video.
"Anyone with information should call us on 101 quoting Log 1080 of July 21."
