'He was everything to us' - Emotional tributes paid to 'loving son, father, brother and nephew' who died after being hit by car in Birmingham

The heartbroken family of a man who was killed after being hit by a car in Birmingham have paid tribute to a “loving son, father, brother and nephew who was everything to us.”

Lee Baker was struck by a car on Ormscliffe Road in Rednal just before 5.10pm on Monday, with the 28-year-old sustaining serious injuries and later dying in hospital.

Two men, both aged 28, were arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of murder, with West Midlands Police confirming they have been given additional time to question them.

A third man, aged 29, has also been arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

Mr Baker's family released a tribute to him on Wednesday.

The tribute said: “Lee was a loving son, father, brother and nephew. He was everything to us and will be sadly missed. He was loved by everyone.”

The family have also asked for privacy at this difficult time.
