Man 'seriously injured' in hit-and-run in Birmingham - appeal launched to trace the driver
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after man was seriously injured in a hit and run collision in Birmingham
At around 9am on Wednesday, May 7, a cyclist was crossing the road in Coventry Road, Small Heath, when the car, described as a grey Volkswagen Golf, stuck him and made off from the scene.
The man suffered serious injuries which he is still recovering from.
The incident was reported to West Midlands Police last month and they have been carrying out enquiries since.
They are now appealing to the public to help with the investigation, and to identify the driver of the vehicle.
A police spokesman said: "We know the area was busy at the time and we would like to speak to anyone with information which may help our investigation, as well as anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage.
