Cancellations and delays on the railway network due to level crossing fault in the Black Country
There have been cancellations and delays on the rail network in the Black Country this morning (Saturday).
A level crossing junction, believed to be near Langley, led to all trains being cancelled between Stourbridge Junction and Birmingham Snow Hill.
West Midlands Railway posted on social media at 7am: "Fault with a level crossing between Snow Hill - Stourbridge Jct All lines are blocked between these stations. Check your train > https://orlo.uk/Xbvtm."

However, engineers raced to the scene and the problem has been fixed but delays on the service are likely to remain throughout the morning.
West Midlands Railway posted at 8am: "The line has reopened - however services have to run at a reduced speed through the area."
Passengers complained there was not enough information given to those in train stations this morning, Tim Easton said: "Why have there been no announcements the line has re-opened."
