The Bilston & East Park Police team started Monday by arresting a man wanted on recall to prison after he was spotted in the town.

Over in the East Park area, a stolen van was also recovered on Monday with enquiries on-going to establish who was responsible for the theft.

Officers have also been patrolling all charity shops in Bilston town centre with PCSO Lewis and PCSO Riley talking to customers about keeping their purses safe and giving out some purse bells which can help as a deterrent as well as a simple alert to anyone tampering with belongings.

As part of our continuous work to combat crime and anti-social behaviour, St Peter's, Park and Graiseley Police officers have been patrolling the Farndale and Gatis Street areas to help ensure there are no issues.

Wednesfield and Heath Town Police have been responding to calls from the community about people riding off-road bikes recklessly in the streets and on a local field.

On Friday evening, officers seized one bike which had no insurance and are continuing to work alongside the community to track down the offenders.

Ettingshall, Blakenhall and Spring Vale Police have also been busy, joining forces with their colleagues in Bilston to arrest a man on suspicion of burglary and arresting another man who has now been charged with robbery and remanded to court.

The team have also been linking in with partners and making numerous visits to addresses about anti-social behaviour, as well as assisting other neighbourhood and investigations colleagues in charging and remanding a man for various shop thefts in and around the area of Cannock Road over the past few weeks.
