Two men taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash at Halesowen roundabout - one arrested
Two men were taken to hospital after being involved in a crash at a roundabout in Halesowen, with one of them later arrested on suspicion of taking a car without consent.
Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were called to reports of the collision at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Islington Road at around 12.30pm today (Tuesday, July 15).
The crews treated two men at the scene, one for serious injuries and the other for potentially serious injuries, before both were taken to hospital.
One of the men was arrested by West Midlands Police officers on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent and driving without a licence, with the force saying he would be spoken to in due course.
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an RTC at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Islington Road in Halesowen at around 12.30pm and sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found two cars had been involved in a collision.

"One man was treated for serious injuries and a second man was treated by ambulance staff for potentially serious injuries before both were conveyed to hospital."
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to the junction of Stourbridge Road and Hales Road shortly before 12.30pm today after a two-car collision.
"One man was taken to hospital, though his injuries were not thought to be serious.
"Another man was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent and driving without a licence.
"He was also taken to hospital and will be spoken to in due course."
