The notice stated notice stated: "Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Access to The Holiday Inn/Vicarage Rise will be via Birmingham Road only.

"A traffic diversion route will be signed via Birmingham Road northbound, Broadway North, Sutton Road, Beacon Road and vice versa.
A further traffic diversion route will be signed via Birmingham Road southbound, Queslett Road, Beacon Road and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by September 5."
