West Midlands Fire Service attended a blaze in Tividale yesterday involving 50 conifer trees.

The fire also affected a house, three garages and two sheds.

Fire fighters said the blaze started from a garden incinerator which was placed too close to fence panels and garden vegetation.

A spokesperson for Tipton Fire Station said: “25 Fire fighters attended a Fire yesterday in Tividale involving 50 Conifer trees, 1 house, 3 Garages, and 2 Sheds. All starting from a Garden Incinerator that was placed too close to Fence panels and garden vegetation.”
