Two arrested after raid on Wetherspoons pub in Wednesfield

Two men have been arrested after a pub in Wednesfield was broken into.

Roads policing officers on patrol were alerted to a car of interest, which was then spotted outside the Royal Tiger Pub on High Street at around 3am this morning (Wednesday).

The vehicle was blocked in by the officers who could see entry had been forced through the glass to the front of the premises.

Two men were arrested from inside the pub, where gambling machines were found to have been damaged.

The men, aged 27 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in custody for questioning.
