Man dies after Staffordshire crash that also injured woman and child
Police have launched an appeal for information after a man died in an accident in Stone
The accident took place around 9.10pm on Monday on the A51 near Aston Marina.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.10pm on Monday (7 July) to the A51. We closed the road at the A34 Aston Island and the B5027 Lichfield Road.
"A black Nissan Juke had been involved in a collision with a tree just south of Aston Marina.

"The driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
"Sadly, he was pronounced dead by doctors in hospital a short time later.
"His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time."
A woman and child were also taken to hospital for further assessment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening nor life-changing.
Police are now appealing to anyone who saw what happened or has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch with them
