£10,000 stolen from Stourport pub by thieves who targeted gambling machines
Thousands of pounds in cash was stolen by thieves who targeted gambling machines at a pub in Stourport.
West Mercia Police said two men wearing dark clothing with hoods over their heads smashed the front window of The Port House in Bridge Street at around 3.30am on Friday (July 7).
Once inside they stole cash from two gambling machines before fleeing with £10,000.
Detective Chief Inspector Warren Matthews said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have information that could help with our inquiries into a break-in at The Port House in Stourport.

“We appreciate the burglary took place in the early hours, but perhaps someone may have seen suspicious activity hours before or they captured something on their dashcam or doorbell which could help identify the people involved or a vehicle used."
It has been business as usual at The Port House which reopened the for trade the following lunchtime, posting on Facebook: "No-one has been hurt, but as the police have identified several pieces of evidence there will need to be a thorough investigation."
