Dry weather and plenty of sun greeted revellers at this year's Halesowen Carnival and Music Festival at the town's Highfield Park.

It's been a decade since the event was launched by residents and they came out in force to celebrate the popular event which is a firm fixture in the town's calendar.

"The weather has been perfect too. We couldn't have asked for more."

There is no longer a carnival queen due to the growing size of the event resulting in the committee deciding to concentrate efforts on other activities to entertain the crowds.
