Man, 21, charged with wounding and possession of a blade following Walsall stabbing

A man from Walsall has been charged with wounding and possession after another man was stabbed multiple times.

Tibor Konstantin, aged 21 and from Walsall, has been remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Friday (July 4) following a stabbing on Stafford Street, Walsall, at around 8.30am on Wednesday.

A man received a number of stab injuries, before being taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

West Midlands Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses, asking anyone with information to contact the force directly. 

A force spokesperson said: "A man received a number of stab injuries and was taken to the hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

"We continue to appeal for witnesses and people with information, especially mobile phone or dashcam footage, to contact us on 101 quoting log number 1144 of July 2."
