Fire crews working to tackle blaze on grassland in West Bromwich
The public have been warned to avoid an area of West Bromwich while firefighters tackle a fire on grassland.
West Midlands Fire Service put out a warning for people to avoid the area around Marsh Lane in Hateley Heath while five fire crews tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "We have five number crews in attendance at Marsh Lane in Hateley Heath in West Bromwich where they have responded to a fire on grassland.
"Please avoid the area, where possible."
