Four parents have instructed lawyers to look into civil claims for damages against Solihull Council and the charity Social Life Opportunities (Solo), which provides organised activities for children

Clarke, a  former teaching assistant at  was been present at after school clubs run by Solo and is believed to have met some of his victims there.

The council and charity said they had received legal letters, but were unable to comment further due to a live police investigation.

At his sentencing in May, Judge Michael Chambers allowed the naming of Clarke, aged 28, of Signal Grove Bloxwich after he was previously granted anonymity.

He told Clarke: "Your victims' close relatives deserve to see you punished for your gross breach of trust. Your crimes caused psychological harm to your victims.
