WOLVERHAMPTON COPYRIGHT NATIONAL WORLD TIM STURGESS 28/06/25Best foot forward, WV Active, Wolverhampton. Best Foot Forward is a community initiative, devised to raise funds for charities and is organised by the Rotary Club of the City of Wolverhampton.

This year's fundraising day saw runners and walkers including families, children and dogs turn out in force at WV Active's Aldersley Stadium for the annual evemtg

Some wore fancy dress and some even brought pets in buggies to complete laps in aid of good causes and get some exercise at the same time.

Scorching temperatures brought runners out in their droves and the £16,000 in the charity pot was easily unlocked by the amount of people doing laps of the 400m track.
