Aerial images have shown the ongoing work on the new Fryers Road Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) due to be completed in 2027.

When built, the new plant, operated by Encyclis, will use combustion technology to convert around 480,000 tonnes of waste annually into enough electrical energy to power up to 90,000 homes
