Man arrested for drink driving and possession of class A drugs in Wednesbury

Wednesbury Town Police arrested the male while out on patrol earlier today (Friday, June 27). 

A spokesperson for the team shared the update across their social media channels to raise awareness. 

They said the officers had come across the male who had fallen off his motorbike and “tried to sneak away”. 

He was then searched by officers and arrested on the suspicion of drink driving as well as possession of Class A drugs and an offensive weapon. 

The male was also found to hold no valid driving license for his vehicle and no insurance either.
