'Disruption' and 'priority repairs' to start following large flooding incident in Kidderminster
Severn Trent has said they are aware of a burst water main that has caused a large flooding incident in Kidderminster.
Water group, Severn Trent, has said that it is aware of the burst water pipe on Green Street, Kidderminster, and is sending a team to the site as a 'priority' to start repairs.
The statement comes after the water confirmed that a burst water main caused a substantial flood in the area, with Severn Trent saying that teams are en route to start 'priority repairs'.

A Severn Trent spokesperson: "We've been made aware of a burst water pipe on Green Street Kidderminster.
"Our teams are heading to the site as a priority and will be on-site as soon as possible to begin investigations and repairs."
In a post on social media, Councillor John Beckingham, of Blakebrook and Habberley South, said: "I have been contacted by a few residents across the town that their water supply appears to be cut off.
"This is due to a burst water pipe on Green Street. I am in communication with Severn Trent, the District Council and other fellow District and Town Councillors.
"Please avoid the area if possible."
