Forest Live has returned again this year with hundreds of people rushing to Cannock Chase Forest for the first of four big nights of music.

The live music series is organised by Forestry England and sees thousands of music lovers visit Staffordshire over the four-day period from Wednesday to Saturday.

The biggest names to appear for this year's four-day event include Nile Rodgers, Snow Patrol, James and Sting.

The first day of the event saw the Brand New Heavies open at 7.30pm, with Nile Rodgers and Chic headlining at 9pm.
