Speedy work by Staffordshire Police road crime team ensures recovery of stolen car
A driver is set to be reunited with their car after quick work by a Staffordshire road crime team helped to locate and recover the car.
Officers from the Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team began a search for the car, which has been reported stolen following a burglary, using live track information from the owner.
They were able to locate the blue BMW just 20 minutes after it was stolen and, following a forensic check, said it would be returned to the owner.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team said: "This car was reported stolen following a burglary.
"With the owners able to live track the vehicle, Team 3 RCT were able to find it parked up unattended and recovered 20 minutes after it was stolen.
"Forensics will give it a once over before its returned back home."
