I visited a friendly Black Country town of which residents are proud - but they agree on what it needs
Residents of this Black Country town are some of the proudest around.
Driving around this week, I couldn't help but wonder 'where in the Black Country are the people the most proud?'.
Well, my questions were quickly answered when I travelled through Tipton, where residents were more than happy to tell all about how proud they were to be from the area.

The main shopping street in this town, which is famous for its history with steam pump engine technology, is the lovely but ever-so-slightly empty Owen Street, with a mixed range of lovely independent shops.
Among them are a florist's, a cosmetics shop, two hairdressers, a cafe and sports bar, a nursery and a small shopping centre with a few stores.
