The education watchdog visited Chase Terrace Academy in April and found it had improved since its last inspection in December of 2022.

In their report published today (Monday), inspectors said the school, which is part of the John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust, "cares for its pupils" and described it as a "positive and respectful" place.

Inspectors said pupils are "polite and courteous" around the school site and "typically concentrate well and do their best" during lessons.

Ofsted said that while the school is "aware that pupil outcomes need to improve", it has embedded a "carefully designed curriculum" which was described by inspectors as "ambitious".
