Man charged after taxi stolen in Birmingham over the weekend
A man has been charged after a taxi was stolen in Birmingham during the early hours of Sunday morning (June 8).
A 19-year-old was detained shortly after the vehicle was taken from Bromford Lane, Hodge Hill around 2am.
Alfie Mooney of Elmay Road, Lyndon Green has now been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, fail to stop and drink driving.
He is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on 24 June.
