Eagle-eyed Brierley Hill police officers solve camper van theft within hours
On-the-ball Brierley Hill police officers found a stolen camper van within hours of being told it was missing.
West Midlands Police forensic specialists are checking the van for any evidence of illegal activity which could have taken place in the van overnight by the thieves.
The relieved owner has been informed the camper van has been found, in one piece and still roadworthy, and will be returned after the police go through procedures.

With festival season well underway camper vans are in demand with owners able to charge over £1,000 a week to people who do not want to camp in the rain.
Brierley Hill Neighbourhood Police Team posted on social media this morning (Saturday) about their crime-solving start to their shift.
The team said: "We were made aware this morning that this camper van had been stolen overnight. We have conducted an area search and located the vehicle. It is now being recovered for a forensic examination prior to being returned to the owner. #DYcrimeteam."
