West Midlands Police has said that officers around Dudley have been on patrol focusing on antisocial behaviour.

As part of a week of action, PCSOs, along with a councillor and a housing management team, patrolled the Quarry Bank area to look out for any behaviour issues.

Teams also held police surgeries in the Tesco Extra in Dudley and The Pavilion in Priory Park.

Officers also conducted an operation in Cradley and Wollescote, where they focused on speeding motorists, issuing several fines.

Seven warning letters were also sent to speeding motorists after a speedwatch event in Netherton.

A vehicle was recovered in the Dudley area after being found to have no tax, and a suspected stolen vehicle was also seized after it failed to stop for officers in Brierley Hill.

A knife was also recovered from Middleway Avenue on Monday (June 2) after officers spotted a group of teenagers using off-road bikes acting suspiciously.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with possession of a knife and is due to appear in court later this month.
