A warning has been after a fire was extinguished at a business in Stafford town centre.
Crews were called to a premises on Greengate Street at 10.40am today (June 4) after reports of a fire.

Three appliances attended and evacuated the building before extinguishing a fire on the ground and first floors - it was later deemed to have been caused accidentally by smoking materials.
Nobody was reported injured but a spokesperson for Staffordshire Fire issued advice for those who smoke inside.
They said:
Make sure your cigarette is fully extinguished and carefully disposed of
Never smoke in bed – you could easily doze off and set your bed on fire
Always use a proper ashtray which is made of material which can’t burn or tip over
Take extra care when you’re tired, are taking any medication or have been drinking alcohol
Keep matches and lighters away from children
