Man, 38, charged following multiple thefts in Willenhall
West Midlands Police have charged a man following a number of thefts from shops around Willenhall.
Stuart Arnold, aged 38, of no fixed address, was set to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today for a first hearing.
Arnold faces six charges of shop thefts with the offences taking place between May 14 and June 2 this year.
The charges follow an arrest yesterday by members of our Willenhall neighbourhood team on New Road.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We've arrested and charged a man with multiple shop thefts in Willenhall. Stuart Arnold, aged 38, of no fixed address, was set to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today for a first hearing.
"Combatting shop thefts is a priority at Walsall Local Policing Area and we launched Operation Marigold in a bid to tackle shop thefts across the Walsall Borough."
