Disruption as three lanes of M5 closed near West Bromwich after 'load falls from lorry'
Three lanes of the M5 have closed after a lorry shed its load.
Road users have been urged to plan ahead after three lanes of the M5, near the J1 Southbound exit sliproad, near West Bromwich, Sandwell, were reportedly closed after a lorry shed its load.
The incident was first reported at 8.59am, with West Midlands Roads saying that while three lanes have been closed due to the incident, cars are still passing around the back of the truck.

The roads watchdog group said: "M5 Junction 1 Southbound Exit Slip.
"Load has fallen out of a HGV vehicle on this route. Three lanes are currently blocked off - but cars are still passing by around the back of the truck.
"Allow extra time for travel."
Emergency services have been approached for more information.
