Three people hurt in Staffordshire crash - two with serious injuries
Police have launched an appeal following a serious collision in Staffordshire.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision near Eccleshall on Tuesday.
Officers attended the crash alongside Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service, quickly finding two vehicles that had been involved in a collision at the junction of Swynnerton Road and High Lanes, Sturbridge.
A woman, a passenger in one of the cars, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, with the woman's family being informed.
A man, the driver of the same car, was also taken to hospital by land ambulance, with serious injuries.
Another man, the driver of the other vehicle, sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance.
"Two vehicles were involved in the collision at the junction of Swynnerton Road with High Lanes in Sturbridge."
Staffordshire Police have now launched an appeal for information into the incident, asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage, to come forward.
The spokesperson added: "Anyone who saw what happened or who has relevant information should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 342 of 27 May or email our collision investigation unit directly at ciu@staffordshire.police.uk.
