A 17-year-old boy has been charged in relation to the theft of thousands of pounds worth of vehicles in Halesowen and Stourbridge.

West Midlands Police said the teenager has been charged with six offences which include burglary, attempted burglary and aggravated burglary. All the offences took place this month.

He has been remanded in custody and was due to  appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Thursday)

The charges relate to a series of ‘lock snap’ burglaries in Dudley since 1 May where offenders have snapped the barrel lock of doors to break into addresses.

High value cars have then been stolen from driveways.
