This year marks the return of the fabulous Wolverhampton Pride - an unmissable event for all to enjoy that promises to bring an explosion of colour and community spirit to the city. 

The event this year will take place during LGBT+ History Month on Saturday, June 7, with the main event taking place in the heart of Wolverhampton - Market Square.

The highly-anticipated event brings thousands of 'queer' (non-cisgender or non-heterosexual) and non-queer members of the community to celebrate not only the gay community, but community togetherness as a whole.

This year's event has promised to be the biggest and best yet, as headliners include the drag extravaganza Queenz, and Pussycat Dolls star, Kimberly Wyatt.

So, with so many exciting and amazing things on during the day, we have made a comprehensive guide to what is happening and what to see during the amazing event. 

The event will take place on Saturday, June 7, with the doors and gates set to open at 2pm, before finishing at 8pm.

The parade will kick off the event, with thousands of people expected to take part, so bring your most colourful clothes and your own flag to make sure you are seen loud and proud.

Tickets for the event cost £8.85 for those 18 years old and older, with concession tickets for those aged 12 to 17 and those over 65 costing £3.90.

Tickets for children aged three to 11 cost £1.84, with children aged two or younger able to go for free.

As well as numbers respected and fabulous drag artists and influential members of the LGBT+ community, the event will play host to a whole roster of celebrated celebrities of the Pride community. 

Among the major stars to be appearing will be Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt and the iconic drag extravaganza, Queenz.

Also appearing at the event will be singer-songwriter Kyle Finn, cabaret queen Miss Sundi, and a dazzling preview of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert from the Bilston Operatic. 

Wolverhampton Pride has announced that Jude Guaitamacchi will host the popular city centre event on Market Square.

Jude is a trans and non-binary, award-winning campaigner, speaker, and the founder of the Trans Solidarity Alliance which, over the last 12 years, has delivered talks and workshops on mental health, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and gender awareness to leading global businesses, brands, schools, and universities.

A spokesman for Wolverhampton Council said: “We are so excited to finalise the Wolverhampton Pride 2025 line-up by welcoming Jude Guaitamacchi to host the main event in Market Square as well as leading our Pride parade."

There will be a number of food and drink stalls at the event, as well as a number of retailers for Pride related items such as flags, pins, hats and clothing items. 

The stalls will line Market Square, with fun activities also taking place on the day. 

The event will be accessible for all, with everyone welcome to get involved.

The toilets will be gender neutral with an aim to make every aspect of the event as inclusive as possible for all attending.
