Watch: Preparation to revamp a Staffordshire town centre making progress
These latest eye-in-the-sky images show how the multi-million pound transformation of Cannock town centre is moving forward with demolition work.
The Cannock Chase Council proposals include redevelopment of a long derelict multi-storey car park and indoor market hall to make way for a new cultural hub, a gateway including a new café is set to better connect the central area to the bus station and Beecroft Road car park which will be spruced up as part of an estimated £44 million scheme funded by the council and the government.
There will also be a new pedestrian crossing.
The new images show that part of the shopping centre has now been flattened and the debris collected into large lorry skips ready to be disposed of.
