Car taken off road in Staffordshire after driver found in possession of cannabis

A driver was arrested and his car taken off the road after being stopped by police in Staffordshire.

The grey car was pulled over and stopped by officers from Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team after being reported being driven in a poor manner.

Upon further inspection, the driver was found in possession of cannabis and the car had multiple dangerous faults.

The car was taken off the road and cabled, while the driver was arrested and reported for all offences.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team said: "A Vehicle was stopped due to a report of poor manner of driving.  

"A male was found in possession of cannabis, and the vehicle was found to have multiple dangerous faults. 

"The vehicle was prohibited and cabled and the driver reported for all offences."
