Lively atmosphere and community feel as popular Stafford food and drink festival returns
There was a lively atmosphere, lots of good food and a fun feeling in the air as a popular food festival returned to Stafford town centre.
The Stafford Music & Food Festival kicked off its 2025 season on Friday, with festival-goers gathering in Market Square and Stafford Town Centre to see live performances and try a range of street foods.

After being launched by Rugeley town crier Adrian Basford, the day featured a full line up of live music and dance performances, including Dappa Dance, Skint Lilly, Dance Fusion, Musical Theatre Stafford, and Naked Sunday.

There were also plenty of food and drink options available, from champagne at the Bubbly Booth to wraps with an American flavour from Tasty States, as well as burgers, chips, gyros and bubble tea.

Lorraine Conkey, event manager for the festival, said: "We were so pleased to see the incredible turnout and enthusiasm from the crowd.

“It’s always wonderful to see the community come together to enjoy great music, food, and the local talent we have here in Stafford.”

The festival was made possible by the support of local sponsors including Casa, M&M Legal, Carthy's Accounts, Top of the World, Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group, and Plumbitts.

The next event will take place on Friday, June 6, with events set to take place on the first Friday of each month.
